Thank you for visiting our web site.
I hope you are as excited as I am about the possibility of Market Drayton being able to use the internet at warp drive speeds in the near future.
We once again need your help!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
If you can spare a little time, and would like to help us by collecting votes door to door, please contact us at:-

Remember the 'Broadband4Drayton' campaign days?
Here we go again, but this time we are trying to convince BT to upgrade our town's internet capabilities to the new super fast 'Infinity' optic fibre-based connectivity.
It’s important we act now and show our interest. You do not need to use B.T as your internet provider, you can be with any provider, in fact you dont even have to be already connected to the internet!
You are able to vote and show your support and interest in many ways.
You can vote by visiting:-
The Computer shop in Shropshire street, The Sue Ryder shop in Cheshire street, The Raven House in Prospect road Market Drayton,
If you would prefer not to use the website, just ask for the campaign form at these voting stations.
BT have just released a website allowing people to register their interest with a simple VOTE. Doing this does not commit you to anything; it simply allows BT to gauge the level of interest in the area - just as happened in the old broadband days. This helps them to concentrate their upgrade efforts on exchanges where a high level of interest is shown. BT are concentrating on exchanges with more than 1000 subscribers; this puts Market Drayton in a very good position we have nearly 6000.
"The five areas with the largest percentage of votes by December 31st 2010 will win the chance to bring superfast broadband to their area. BT will also donate £5,000 of computer equipment to a local community project."
Please take time to look at this simple site and to VOTE by submitting your postcode on the BT link. Your help now will hopefully make Market Drayton become one of the first towns to be upgraded in this area.
I do not work for BT, neither do I get any benefit in any way. This website is supported and hosted at my expense; my reward - and yours - is to hasten the day when we can enjoy a high speed internet connection in the town.
Many thanks for your help; the future is looking fast!
PLEASE VOTE
Best Wishes Mike and the "Infinity4drayton" group
Many thanks to the shops and businesses that have allowed us to display our posters, and post details on their Facebook pages. Our Thanks also go to the Sue Ryder shop and Computer Co shop for collecting vote details for us, and last but not least to the Advertiser and Shropshire Star for their continued help and support.
